Your students are hungry for truth, and God is calling them to His Word, not just to read it, but to know it and live it. The curriculum we are using is Explore the Bible: Students (ETB:S). ETB:S takes your students book-by-book through Scripture, equipping them to study the Bible together and for themselves. Each session works to help students understand what the Bible is really saying, how to study it, and how to live its truth at home, school, and in their communities. We are asking students to read each book we study on their own time. Below you will find our suggested reading plan...
October 6 - Galatians 3
October 13 - Galatians 4
October 20 - Galatians 5
October 27 - Galatians 6
November 3 - James 1
November 10 - James 2
November 17 - James 3
November 24 - James 4
December 6 - James 5
The idea is to have them read before the date listed so we can discuss them.
This study is happening Sunday morning 10-11am for both middle school and high school. Make sure you bring a Bible and a journal/writing utensil.
There are injustices all around us. We see injustice in big ways, in small ways, in the world around us, and in our own experiences. In this 4-week series, you’ll help students see that God cares deeply about fighting injustice. Then you’ll help them discover how they can respond in Jesus’ name to injustice by working to right the wrongs they encounter in their lives, their world, and even in their own hearts.
This series will take place at 6:00-8:00pm during Family Night (Wednesday nights starting Aug. 28th) for Middle School. There is an optional meal beginning at 5:30pm for $3.50.
The high school youth group meets Sunday evenings during the school year from 6:00-8:00pm (beginning on September 8th) at Good Shepherd.
The second Sunday of the month is eat out night!
