Children's Ministry
Sunday School

At Good Shepherd, your children will find a home away from home.  We encourage learning, sharing, and community.  Our adult helpers are trained and screened for the kiddo’s safety.
Save some time on Sunday mornings and preregister your young children for Sunday School here!

Family Worship Sunday - The first Sunday of every month is Family Worship Sunday. This allows the families to worship & take communion together. A Children’s Moment will occur during this Sunday. We know your kiddos will squirm, we know they may squeak throughout service…and we love them for it! Besides, children were probably Jesus’ favorite people!

The rest of the Sundays in the month is Children’s Sunday School. Bring your child(ren) to class before service begins and then pick them up after service and ask them about their exciting Sunday School hour!

All children begin in Room 133, they will then break down into small groups:
Ages 3-4 Room 125
Grades K-2 Room 121
Grades 3-5 Room 123
Pick up will be in the small group classes.

Making sure your children are safe and cared for is our top priority. All of our volunteers go through an application and background check process, and we follow the United Method Church’s Safe Sanctuaries guidelines. A church staff member monitors the children’s area on Sunday mornings to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Ask at the welcome desk, and a volunteer will gladly show you to our children’s area and introduce you to Children’s Ministries Director Kaylee Evans. Please contact her at with questions and concerns.

So many of our children’s groups head out on field trips! If your child is headed out, please make sure they have a universal permission form on file. Print yours here and bring it in.
