Chair Yoga is open to ANY BODY who would like to gain the benefits of joint freeing movements, improved range of motion and gentle strength building to support you and your regular daily activities, all from the support and safety of a chair.
Each class will help you build awareness around your movement patterns, how your breath can be used to support healthy movements and each session will end with a guided relaxation.
Chair yoga begins Wednesday, April 20th at 9:30am in room 141. Cost will be a suggested donation of $5 per class. Class size will be limited to 15 because of room size. Instructor is Karla Alexander, a licensed Yoga therapist. No equipment needed, no aerobic exercise, wear comfortable clothing and come prepared to relax and enjoy.
