Saturday Night Gospel Gathering
Fourth Saturday of the Month at 6:00 PM
With more and more people expressing interest in gospel music and hymns, the fourth Saturday night of each month will be turning toward a decidedly gospel feel. You can expect to hear more four part harmony and to sing songs like “Blessed Assurance” and “How Great Thou Art” in the Saturday Evening Gospel Gatherings. For those who don’t have a church home where this style of music has a place, we hope that GSUM will become a home away from home. For those who love the GSUM variety in worship, but who would enjoy “a bit more” of their favorites, this is the place to attend and bring some friends. Mark you calendar now for the fourth Saturday of each month and show up with a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

Taize/Labyrinth Worship Service
Fourth Sunday of the Month at 5:00 PM
A time for prayer, renewal, reflection and worship
Experience the peaceful inspiring service that is Taize. Taize worship is a service of prayer, songs, scripture and quiet reflection. Following the Taize worship, you will have he opportunity to walk the Labyrinth. The Labyrinth is an ancient self-discovery prayer tool which has been an integral part of cultures throughout the world for more than 4,000 years. Unlike a maze, the labyrinth is a sacred path with no dead ends...only a circle representing one’s own spiritual quest for wholeness. Join us in the Activity Center (Vance and Reed) at 5:00 p.m. each fourth Sunday of the month. Please enter quietly through door number five (west door facing Vance Avenue).
