SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL
Summer Sunday School will begin on Sunday, June 4. Classes are as follows and remember, we DO NOT promote to the next grade until September, so please stay in the grade/class that you have been in all year.
2 year olds-5 years old: Room 133/135
Kindergarten– 2nd Grade: Room 123
3rd Grade-5th Grade: Room 121
Look for all the color in the hallways….we will be studying the colorful life of David. We look forward to seeing you!

These events are open to children who
have just finished first grade through fifth
grade unless it’s noted differently.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 12: Indianapolis Children’s Museum First bus trip:
This event is open to parents and younger siblings (you will be responsible for supervision).
WEDNESDAY, JULY 26: FAIR OAKS FARM
Second bus trip: This event is open to parents and younger siblings (you will be responsible for supervision). Check out their website. This will be quite an adventure! http://fofarms.com
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9: JELLYSTONE PARK
Universal permission slips must be filled out for children attending any of these events.

Childcare is lovingly provided for children ages 3 and younger during the 9:30 and 11:00 services. All childcare providers are trained and screened to work with children.
Childcare is offered in two age-appropriate rooms:
- infant room: room 122 for newborns - children 18 months of age
- toddler room: room 124 for children 18 months – 3 years of age

Sunday School for Children
Each Sunday, children age 2 - 5th grade are invited to attend worship with their families in the worship center at 9:30 AM. At approximately 9:45 AM, after praising God in song and hearing a children's message, children are led to Sunday School while parents remain in the worship center.
Through age-appropriate, high energy, interactive classroom experiences, children of all ages can grow in biblical knowledge and apply this knowledge to their daily lives.
Sunday school classrooms for children:
- 2 - 3 year olds: room 125
- 4 - 5 year olds: room 127
- kindergarten - 1st grade: room 121
- 2nd - 3rd grade: room 131
- 4th - 5th grade: room 135

Sunday School for Youth
Youth (6th-12th grade) at Good Shepherd are welcome to attend Sunday school. Sunday school takes place at 9:30 AM every Sunday EXCEPT the first Sunday of each month. On the first Sunday of each month, youth are encouraged to attend worship in the worship center where they can take communion with the entire congregation.
Sunday school classrooms for youth:
- 6th - 7th grade: room 143/145

- 9th - 12th grade: The Pit
Sunday School for Adults
Currently, Good Shepherd offers two Sunday school classes for adults.
Passages uses a variety of materials and study guides, chosen by the class, for continual learning and applying the Word to our lives as disciples. Any and all adults of any age are welcome to join us. The group is relaxed and friendly. Lesson leading is shared among those who like to teach or lead discussion. The Passages class meets in Room 139 at 9:30 on Sundays.
*Pilgrimage class invites all who are interested to attend their study. Acts is the topic, it will be offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Room 138. Please join us for this insightful series.
