Universal Permission Slip

Youth activities that require transportation or travel from the church will require a Universal Permission form to be completed. Click here to download the form as an Adobe PDF file that you can print, fill-out and bring with you to the church event or activity.

Drop In

Good Shepherd Youth are encouraged to attend Drop –In on Friday nights for fun and fellowship. Good Shepherd youth are defined as those that have a relationship with the church through membership, youth group or Sunday School. Good Shepherd Youth are also encouraged to invite a friend after securing permission through leadership.

Starting the first week of October.

Middle High Drop-In is for students grades 6-8 and takes place on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 6:30-8:00 PM.

Sr. High Drop–In is for students grades 9-12 In is slightly different. Students that are active in the youth ministry of the church are invited to come weekly on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 9:00-11:00 PM for bible study, fellowship, games and snack.

Wednesday
Wednesday evening are full of fun, study, fellowship and outreach. With Between Time open to all youth grades 6-12, from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. (with appropriate permission forms on file). Following Between Time, at 4:00 the programming changes and will be available to Good Shepherd youth only.  Good Shepherd Youth are defined as kids that are either members of Good Shepherd church or youth that are part of our youth group or Sunday School programs. This part of the evening will consist of gathering time, bible study, prayer and time to hang with friends. established by the leadership team.
Wednesdays are also the days in which students are invited to participate in “family night dinner” and youth group. Be sure to sign-up for the family night dinner, cost is $2.00 per person and sign-up sheets are located outside the music room. Dinner is served at 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.

Youth group will meet on Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 most weeks.  The purpose of youth group is to gather with Christian friends, build relationships with others and grow in discipleship along with a lot of fun and activities. We will start earlier if we are planning a fun activity away from church. Watch the youth bulletin board for these dates when we start earlier.

Bible Study
Every Sunday at 9:45 AM

Building on biblical principles, students are encouraged to apply scripture to their daily lives. Bible study is open to every student wishing to explore the scripture deeper. Classes are:

  • Middle High (6th – 8th Grades) Room 143
  • Sr. High (9th – 12th Grades) Room 144
  • Confirmation (8th grade & up) Room 147/149
