LIFE Groups: Live in Faith Everyday

L.I.F.E. Group is a new ministry here at Good Shepherd.  L.I.F.E. is an acronym for our mission statement, which is to, “live in faith everyday.”  We feel that L.I.F.E. Groups are so important for the body of Christ that it is our vision that everyone be involved with a L.I.F.E. Group.

Our fall campaign begins Sunday, October 15th 2017.  This is a great time to join a group or even start a new one.  If you are interested in joining a group or hosting one of your own please contact our L.I.F.E. Group Ministry Director...

  • Women's Bible Study

This bible study meets on Monday nights in coffee shops or in the homes of those involved with the study from 7:00 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m.  The group started by reading The Modern Girl's Guide to Bible Study by Jen Hatmaker, and they still use many of the strategies and suggestions offered in that book including setting (and trying to keep!) a daily reading schedule and journaling.  You don't have to have read The Modern Girl's Guide to Bible Study to join, nor do you have to love journaling. All women who want to learn more about God through His word are invited. Contact Mandy Goldfuss or (260) 579-6862 (text or call).  or the church office (483-8816) for more information.

  • 30 Something Group

What is the 30 Something Group all about?  It is nothing more than a group of 30 somethings who get together for an evening of food and laughter.  If you are in your 30's or married to a 30 something, then this is the club for you!

We meet on the 2nd Friday of every month.  If you have children, there is childcare available at church for a minimal fee starting at 6:45 pm. Dinner is from 7:00-9:00 pm and the location varies from month to month.  Every so often, we will have family dinners at the church or a family outing for a change in setting.  This is a great way to meet others in our church!

Watch the bulletin and newsletter for details on upcoming 30 Something gatherings or contact Corrina Weikle for more information.

  • 50+ Group/Circle of Friends

This group of 50+ adults gathers for social events outside the church.  Watch the newsletter for details.

  • Rubber Stamp Group

The rubber stamp group meets at Good Shepherd on the 4th Sunday of every month from 2:00-4:00 pm.  The group makes greeting cards, shares prayer concerns and learns new techniques.  For more information, contact Patsy Matthews.

  • Yoga

Good Shepherd currently offers two yoga classes per week for a minimal fee.  Join us Tuesday nights at 6:00 pm.  All classes take place in room 143/145. Please call Liz Struckholz at 260-715-3917 with any questions or concerns.
