Founded in 1992, this United Methodist University based in Zimbabwe, trains leaders for the continent of Africa. Support goal is $500.

Grace Children’s Hospital

For over 35 years, Grace Children’s Hospital has battled tuberculosis and malnutrition, providing medical care to the children of Haiti. Good Shepherd provides ongoing support through the Coffee & Donut table on Sunday mornings, providing for the care and healing of three children through “Partners in Grace.” Support goal is $1,000, plus $1,250 for treating three Partners in Grace children.

Heifer Project

Through Heifer International this project furnishes livestock (cows, chickens, rabbits, oxen) to persons in over 100 Third-World countries to help them develop herds. The first offspring of every gift animal is then shared with another family in need. Children’s Sunday School classes participate in Heifer Project Support goal is $1,000.

Kissy Clinic

Located in Sierra Leone, the Kissy Clinic provides community based medical care for hundreds of persons weekly. Support goal $1,500.

Operation Classroom
The College of West Africa, a secondary school in Monrovia, Liberia, continues to be a focus of UM churches in the Fort Wayne area as we provide educational supplies, as well as staff and facility support Support goal $1,000.
Work Teams
Good Shepherd is committed to sending teams of persons to various areas of the United States to provide hands-on ministry. An Annual trip to Pennsylvania takes place in July. As need arises relief work teams are sent through the United Methodist Committee on Relief to disaster areas. Support goal is $1,000.
