“What is God really like and what does He have to do with the ups and downs of my everyday life?” William P. Young’s successful and intriguing book “The Shack” serves as a starting place for this year’s summer sermon series. In the book, Mack faces a tragedy that forces him to seriously consider what he really believes about God’s character, His nature and His purposes – and not just in theory, but in the way Mack lives his everyday life. Each weekend this summer, through a series of paired messages, the pastors will help us understand classical theology – who God is - and follow it up with a practical message helping us consider how to integrate these beliefs into our daily behavior and practices. GSUM Summer Guest Artist Series continues on Sunday, July 19 with David Ashley providing special music at 8:30 and 11:00 AM and a concert at 9:45 AM.
