About Children's Ministry Fellowship

Acts 2:43 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.

Following the example of the early church, we enjoy our time in fellowship with each other. Children at Good Shepherd are equally encouraged to spend time in fellowship with other Christians, to encourage and build them in their faith. We offer 2 fellowship groups for children:

Summer Fellowship Activities
Wild Wednesdays

Calling all kids entering grades Kindergarten through 5th for the upcoming school year! Good Shepherd is holding a special weekly event called, “Wild Wednesdays” to help you beat the summer boredom. Every Wednesday starting July 1, we will have different events from 9:00 AM – Noon. Please contact Deb Miteff, Katie McClellan or Adam Gross for more information. On July 1, we will be begin with a Carnival Kick-Off at Good Shepherd Vance & Reed.

 

The following fellowship activities occur during the school year:
Club 325: Fellowship for Grades 3 - 5

Club 325 we will have fellowship, explore our faith and just have plan ole FUN! It’s a great opportunity to learn and share with your friends! Let’s discover God’s love together!

Meets each Wednesday during the school year from 6:30 – 8:00.

 

OTK: 1st and 2nd Grade Fellowship

Those students entering 1st and 2nd Grades can join us for OTK! We will have fun, make new friends and explore our faith. Using different learning experiences we will learn about God’s amazing love! Meets each Wednesday during the school year from 6:30 – 8:00.

Between Time

Between Time is the time between school and Children’s Choir. Students grades 3-5 are invited to come after school to enjoy fellowship, games, activities and snacks. Between Time transitions nicely to choir for those wishing to stay and sing. Please note: All students wishing to participate must bring a completed Universal Permission form signed by a parent or guardian AND a completed registration card signed by both the student and their parent. In addition, all students must agree to abide by the rules established by the leadership team.
