Wednesday’s during the summer for Kindergarten through Grade 5 students will explore Fort Wayne and Allen County. Wild Wednesday’s will take place from July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; and August 6. No registration is required for participation; however, a Universal Permission Form is needed. The bus will leave Vance & Reed at 8:30am and pick up Open Arms participants at 9:00am for the morning of fun! Returning to Open Arms at 12:00pm and Good Shepherd at 12:30pm.

The time Between school and family night on Wednesdays is Between Time! Children grades 3 through 5 and Students grades 6-12 are encouraged to join us each week during the school year for Between time. A time of fellowship, snacks, and games. A time of supervised freedom, time to do homework, a time for conversation with a trusted adult, a time to just hang out. Children grades 3 through 5 will be required to have a registration card on file, showing parents permission to attend. Registration cards can be picked up at the Connecting Center. Students grades 6-12 will need to sign-in upon arrival. Students grades 6-12 are also encouraged to assist with supervision of younger students.
