Childcare is lovingly provided for children ages 3 and younger during all services and most events held at the church. In our nursery, you will find a quality, Christian, loving and safe environment as our number one priority. All childcare providers are trained and screened to work with children.

You can rest assured that we will make every attempt to keep your child comfortable and happy, but we will come and get you should your child be unhappy and can not be comforted for 10 minutes. We call this the “10 minute cry rule.”

Our Child Care is offered in two age-appropriate rooms:

  • Room 122 is the Crib Room and is ready to receive children from newborn to 18 months of age.
  • Room 124 is the Toddler Room and is ready to receive children 18 months – 3 years of age.

If you are planning on visiting Good Shepherd for the first time, we have some tips that will make your child’s visit a great one!

  • Be sure your child is fed. We will be happy to give your baby a bottle if needed during the services.
  • Be sure your child arrives with a clean diaper as we will spend our first few minutes getting to know them.
  • Please feel free to bring a favorite blanket to comfort them.
  • Please make sure your child’s name is on your diaper bag. If you do not have a label, we will provide one for you.
  • Please do not leave your child in the nursery or toddler room if they have been sick or have run a fever in the last 24 hours.
