SCRIP
Easy Fundraising with Scrip

Scrip is a mighty fundraiser with huge possibilities and it costs you nothing more than a few minutes of your time. Many area merchants, both local and national chains participate in Scrip, by allowing us to purchase their gift cards at a reduced rate and we then sell them at face value. You can purchase scrip cards for: groceries, dining out, household needs, gas, gift giving and so much more. All you need to do is click here for a downloadable order form, complete the form and mail it to the church with your check and pick up your order the next week at both sites. You never loose money because there is no fee to you.

The order form lists primarily scrip that is for the merchants in our areas, but Scrip is great for gift giving and you can click here at www.glscrip.com to see the many additional scrip certificates that are available throughout the United States. We can order scrip for any merchant listed on the GLSCRIP website as well.

Profits from scrip are used to provide camperships to the children and youth and for special projects throughout the church.

Orders are due by noon on Sundays and will be ready by Friday of that week.

Let's Earn Free Money

There are several ways Good Shepherd folks can help us earn “Free Money” using community incentives.

Purchase Scrip:

You purchase grocery “scrip” dollar for dollar and the local merchants give us a percentage from the total sales. You spend nothing extra!

EXAMPLE: Buy $20.00 worth of Scotts or Kroger scrip from Good Shepherd, take it to the store and purchase $20.00 worth of groceries and they give Good Shepherd $1.00 back.

Use Your Meijer Community Rewards Card:

Fill out an application with Good Shepherd’s member code on it and use it every time you make a purchase at Meijer. Monthly, Good Shepherd will receive a check equivalent to a percentage of purchases made by Good Shepherd members. There is no cost for the card and you don’t have to do anything different.

Use Your Hall's Card:

Pick up a Hall’s card from the Education Department and use it every time you eat at Hall’s or use Hall’s catering. Monthly Hall’s will send Good Shepherd a check equivalent to a 5 % of the purchases. Again, all you need to do is show the card.

If we all use these community incentives, Good Shepherd could benefit greatly and earn money very quickly with no additional burden on our families.

All proceeds from the SCRIP program will be divided between the Camping Ministry and the Preschool Playground development.
