Memorial Gifts
Memorial Gifts are often made through the church to support and provide for ministries in the name of loved ones. These gifts are often made on Anniversaries, Birthdays, or in the passing of a loved one or friend.

Our beautiful Memorial Garden and Christian Education windows are only a sample of the amazing gifts that have been made possible by memorial gifts. Much of the equipment needed to provide the programming of the church is provided by those who wish to acknowledge some loved ones special interests in the church. The etched glass window of “Jesus and the Children” was a gift in memory of a volunteer who used to sit at the desk behind the windows and loved to watch the pre-school children go back and forth down the hallways.

One of the wonderful traditions at Good Shepherd is that we do not put tags on gifts to create and atmosphere of how much was given. Every gift is important in God’s eyes and the eyes of the church. Our beautiful Memorial Garden is dedicated to the memory of ALL those loved ones who have been called to God’s Glory before us.

Gifts to special mission interests locally or around the nation and world are also given. These gifts are extremely helpful to these missions in providing for special needs. Our annual Christmas “Alternative Giving” program is a vehicle for making gifts to missions programs in the names of those who are Special” to us throughout the year.

If you would be interested in making such a gift, please contact one of the pastors or the Church Financial Administrator.
