Branching out is designed specifically for the new or beginning Christian to provide a foundation for growth as a disciple of Jesus Christ. These beginning courses are recommended for those adults who are beginning their walk with Christ. Participants will be challenged in the areas of: Who Jesus is! Why the Cross?, What is the church?, Methodism, How to use my gifts, How do I know I am a disciple?

Visitor Brunch
A time to begin your exploration into membership at Good Shepherd, the discipleship model and to learn more about Good Shepherd. All visitor brunches are held at the home of Pastor Stacy and take place at 12:30 p.m. Reservations are needed. We try to make contact with all newcomers, but should we inadvertently miss you, please contact Kelley Hathaway at the church office or use the sign-up sheet in the main hallway of our Vance & Reed campus.

Faith Friend Dinners
Faith friend dinners are great ways for you to get connected with a person from Good Shepherd that I invested in helping you become comfortable with the church and get to know people. Your Faith friend is someone that will accompany you on this journey of growth. Reservations are needed and you will be contacted to complete this process. Faith friend dinners are held at our Vance & Reed campus at 6:00 p.m.
